Yes, Birth, as Nature Intended is a modern hypnobirthing course, but it’s also so much more. You’ll learn evidence-based birth education, mindset tools, and practical techniques to help you release fear and build confidence. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are a key part of the course, woven throughout each module.
You can begin at any stage of pregnancy. However, the ideal time to start is between 25–33 weeks, giving you plenty of time to practise the tools before birth.
If you discover the course later in pregnancy, that’s okay too! You can still benefit from the content, and you can complete lessons at anytime.
Some māmā even start earlier (around 14–20 weeks) and come back to refresh closer to birth.
Absolutely. In fact, Birth, as Nature Intended is perfect for first-time mums who want to feel calm, confident, and fully informed heading into birth.
You’ll learn everything from how your body works during labour to powerful mindset tools that help you release fear and trust the process.
Even if you’ve never experienced birth before, you’ll finish the course feeling prepared, supported, and excited to meet your baby.
The course includes five in-depth modules. Most māmā complete one module per week over about five weeks, but you can move at your own pace.
Whether you want to binge it in a weekend or take it slow over several months, it’s completely flexible.
Yes, definitely. The course content is universal and applies no matter where you live.
While a few examples refer to the New Zealand maternity system, everything you’ll learn, from the mindset tools to body-based techniques, supports all birthing experiences globally.
